ACCEPTEDCA ESTIMATOR

What are my chances?

Enter your academic profile to see a directional admissions outlook across California's UC and CSU campuses. Results compare your academic profile with recent admitted-student ranges and campus selectivity. The model is intentionally broad because UC and CSU admissions consider more than GPA alone.

YOUR RESULTS

Enter your profile to begin.

You'll see all 9 UC and 22 CSU universities here.

Results use broad planning bands—Very Strong, Strong, Competitive, Reach, and High Reach—rather than a falsely precise personal percentage.

HOW TO USE THIS

A planning tool—not an admissions decision.

01

Academic position

The calculator uses campus selectivity as context, then compares weighted and unweighted GPA plus course rigor with recent admitted-student ranges. It deliberately avoids treating the lower end of a middle-50% GPA range as a cutoff because many admitted students fall below that point.

02

Campus + major context

UC results use recent official California-resident campus data as an anchor and apply a directional major adjustment. CSU results also account for university and program impaction, with California residency treated as favorable where capacity is limited.

03

What it cannot see

PIQs, activities, achievements, school opportunities, exact A-G course count, local CSU admission area, alternate-major rules and campus-specific holistic review can materially change an outcome.

Test scores: SAT and ACT are intentionally excluded because UC and CSU do not use them to determine undergraduate admission eligibility.

Important: No calculator can determine an individual's true probability of admission. These results are an AcceptedCA planning estimate only and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by the University of California or California State University.
