What happens during the free initial consultation?
The free consultation is a 15-minute introductory conversation. We'll discuss the student's goals, current application stage, target UC/CSU campuses, and where AcceptedCA support may be most useful. There is no obligation to purchase a paid service.
What is the $50 Admissions Strategy Session?
This is a 45-minute one-on-one session focused on reviewing the student's AcceptedCA calculator results in depth, discussing campus choices and competitiveness, and identifying practical ways to strengthen the student's admissions profile. It can also be purchased as a gift.
What is included in the $60 Personal Statement & PIQ Review?
The student sends the draft in advance. AcceptedCA reviews it before the meeting, then meets live with the student for 30–60 minutes to discuss structure, clarity, focus, storytelling, proofreading, and prompt-specific feedback. The student remains the author of all submitted writing.
What is included in the $150 Full Application Review?
The student submits a completed or near-completed application in advance. AcceptedCA reviews the full application—including activities/extracurriculars, awards, academics, intended major, campus selections, PIQs/personal statements, and overall positioning—then meets live for a 60-minute review session.
How is the $500 End-to-End Application Support different?
The $150 service is for students who want AcceptedCA to review what they have already built. The $500 service provides ongoing guidance through building the application itself—from gathering information and planning through review and submission preparation. Students interested in this service should begin with the free consultation.
Will AcceptedCA write a student’s personal statement or PIQs?
No. AcceptedCA does not ghostwrite essays or application responses. Students are responsible for creating and submitting their own work. Guidance may include brainstorming, organization, feedback, editing suggestions, and proofreading.
Does the AcceptanceMeter predict admission?
No. It is an independent planning tool that produces an estimate from limited academic inputs and broad campus/major competitiveness assumptions. Admissions decisions consider information the calculator cannot fully capture, and the result is not an official probability or guarantee.
Is AcceptedCA affiliated with UC, CSU, or a particular campus?
No. AcceptedCA is an independent admissions guidance service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official representative of the University of California, California State University, or any individual campus.
Can AcceptedCA guarantee admission?
